My Story

A few years ago, my life shifted dramatically. I found myself navigating divorce, moving homes, and managing work, family, and my own health challenges — all while trying to make sense of insurance systems that felt intentionally confusing.

I was also working as an Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), helping families through some of the most tender, vulnerable moments of their lives. I learned quickly that insurance plays an enormous role in people’s access to care, the stress they carry, and the decisions they make.

Through my own storms, I realized something important:

Women need a guide. A steady light. A calm presence who can help them sort through the noise and reclaim their power.

That realization became the spark behind Bonfire in the Rain — and behind the work I do now.

My Approach

I’m not a salesperson.
I’m not here to push a plan or steer you into anything.

I am a:

  • Strategist : I look at your life, your providers, your priorities, and the small details most people miss.
  • Translator: I break down complex insurance rules into clear, human language.
  • Guide: I help you understand the options you actually have — not just the ones the system makes obvious.
  • Partner: I believe in collaborative decision-making, not pressure.
  • Supporter of women in transition : My clients are often navigating a move, divorce or loss of a spouse, job change, pregnancy, chronic condition, or new season of life.

Why This Work Matters to Me

I believe that when a woman understands her coverage:

    • she makes better health choices
    • she spends money more intentionally
    • she feels less stressed
    • she accesses the care she actually wants
    • she becomes an advocate for herself and her family

Insurance is not the whole story — but it’s a big part of the foundation.
And when the foundation is solid, everything else becomes easier.
